Nalgonda/Narayanpet, On 22nd January Tensions flared during the Shobha Yatra held in various areas of Telangana as part of the Ram Temple’s opening ceremony in Ayodhya. Disruptions and provocative actions were observed in multiple locations, with raised slogans attempting to disturb the peace. However, the situation was eventually diffused through the patience of local Muslims and police intervention.

In the town of Kosgi, Narayanpet district, miscreants associated with saffron organizations reportedly played offensive songs from DJs and loudspeakers for an extended period in front of Madina Masjid, attempting to incite Muslims. Despite the provocation, mosque officials urged worshippers and local Muslims to remain patient, ultimately restoring calm.

An incident also occurred at the open ground of the Narkatpalli mosque in Babdad Dakhala, Nalgonda district. During the Isha prayer on Sunday night, workers from certain Hindu organizations gathered on the dedicated land of the mosque, shouting slogans of Jai Sri Ram and disrupting the peaceful atmosphere. Despite the presence of numerous Muslims in the mosque, who faced the crowd outside chanting slogans, the situation was handled with patience. The Muslims recorded the scenes through phone and WhatsApp, sharing them widely.

Upon learning of the incident, Muhammad Raziuddin Advocate promptly contacted District SP Nalgonda Sreemati Chandana Deepthi, DSP Sridhar Reddy, and the concerned Circle Inspector. He expressed his concerns and anger, demanding immediate protection for the mosques and the removal of miscreants. In response, the police swiftly intervened, forcing the workers of Hindu sectarian organizations to leave and safely escorting worshippers to their respective homes.
