A video capturing an unsettling incident in Hyderabad’s Hayat Nagar has gained widespread attention, depicting a woman engaging in verbal abuse, spitting, and physically assaulting the conductor of an RTC bus.
According to reports, the woman claimed that the conductor insisted on her disembarking the bus, alleging a lack of cash for the ticket. Narrated by a fellow passenger, the woman asserted that she had handed the conductor a 500-rupee note for the fare, only to be met with verbal abuse and physical aggression.
The incident, once shared on social media, prompted numerous individuals to tweet the video to VC Sajnar, the Managing Director of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), urging decisive action against the woman. In response, the RTC officially condemned the behavior and filed a complaint at the LB Nagar police station.
Law enforcement is currently investigating the matter, and RTC officials emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for such incidents, vowing to take legal action against those found responsible.
