Jharkhand : In a developing political saga in Jharkhand, the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance is reportedly contemplating the relocation of its MLAs amid uncertainty over government formation. Visuals captured a bus carrying alliance MLAs outside Ranchi airport, with speculation suggesting their destination as Hyderabad.
Sources indicate that the MLAs are scheduled to fly to Hyderabad, although the flight’s departure has been delayed due to low visibility. Reports also emerge of buses parked outside Begumpet airport in Hyderabad, hinting at preparations for the MLAs’ arrival.
Jharkhand Congress President Rajesh Thakur asserted confidence in the alliance’s ability to form the government, with a few MLAs remaining in Ranchi to monitor the situation. However, concerns arise as the political climate grows tense, prompting the alliance to consider moving its legislators.
Meanwhile, Congress leaders criticized the BJP, accusing it of undermining the democratic process. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra condemned the delay in the Governor’s invitation to form a new government, alleging BJP’s interference in multiple states.
Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge expressed dissatisfaction over the delay in inviting the JMM legislature party leader Champai Soren to form the government, labeling it a ‘disrespect to the Constitution.’ Further criticism came from Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh, who denounced the alleged ‘Horse-Trading’ and deemed it an injustice and a murder of democracy.
