Hyderabad : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made an unexpected move by opting for public transport in Hyderabad. Following a public address on Thursday evening, Gandhi boarded a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus in Greater Hyderabad, accompanied by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. The decision to travel by bus allowed Gandhi to engage with fellow passengers, distributing ‘Panch Nyay’ brochures and discussing the Congress government’s free bus travel initiative in the state.
During the journey, Gandhi took the opportunity to elucidate the Congress party’s national manifesto promises, particularly focusing on commitments to women, youth, farmers, and workers. Passengers were pleasantly surprised by Gandhi’s presence, seizing the chance to take selfies with him.
Earlier, in his public address, Gandhi reiterated concerns about the BJP’s intentions towards the Constitution and assured his commitment to its protection. He also outlined plans for increasing reservations and highlighted various promises of the potential INDIA bloc government, emphasizing their aim to revitalize the economy and bolster employment opportunities.
