Meinhardt Group Delegation Meets Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to Discuss Musi Riverfront Development

Hyderabad : In a significant development for the city’s urban landscape, a delegation from the Meinhardt Group, led by CEO Omar Shahzad, held a constructive meeting with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at the Secretariat on Tuesday. The delegation expressed their keen interest in undertaking the ambitious Musi Riverfront Development Project, presenting their expertise and showcasing successful projects implemented in various countries.

The Meinhardt Group officials conducted a detailed presentation, providing insights into their international projects and offering draft designs tailored for the Musi Riverfront. The Chief Minister, while appreciating the presentation, emphasized the importance of aligning the project with the future needs of the rapidly evolving city.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy highlighted the transformative changes in the city’s infrastructure, including the expansion of the road network with the Outer Ring Road (ORR), Regional Ring Road (RRR), and upcoming railway lines. He urged the Meinhardt Group to design the Musi Riverfront Development model in a manner that seamlessly integrates with the city’s expansion plans.

“The very outlines of Hyderabad City would undergo a change with the expansion of its road network with the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Regional Ring Road (RRR) and upcoming railway lines around the city,” stated the Chief Minister during the meeting.

Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Authority Principal Secretary Dana Kishore, and HMDA Joint Commissioner, along with Musi River Front Development Corporation MD Amrapali, were present at the meeting, underscoring the collaborative approach of the government and various departments involved in the project.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had recently visited London and Dubai, where he inspected riverfront projects and engaged in discussions with representatives of foreign companies and firms. These interactions aimed at exploring partnerships and expertise that could contribute to the successful implementation of the Musi Riverfront Project.

The meeting with the Meinhardt Group signifies a crucial step forward in the realization of the Musi Riverfront Development Project, with a focus on creating a sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, and functionally efficient urban space that aligns with the city’s future growth and development plans.
