Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan Leads Puja at Raj Bhavan for Ram Temple Inauguration

Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan performed a special puja at Raj Bhavan on Monday to commemorate the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

As per a Raj Bhavan press communique, the Governor conducted “Lord Shri Rama Pooja and participated in a devotional hymn-singing session (Sri Rama Nama Sankeerthanam) at Raj Bhavan to mark the Sri Ram Prana Pratishtha ceremony of the Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.”

The program featured classical singers from the AMS College of Fine Arts and Media Education and Sammahana School, offering their soulful renditions of devotional songs in tribute to Lord Rama. The event was attended by guests, including the Secretary, Joint Secretaries, and the entire Raj Bhavan staff.

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan also took part in lighting lamps at Raj Bhavan, as conveyed through her official handle on ‘X,’ aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to celebrate this historic occasion.

She, along with leaders of the Telangana BJP at Nizam College grounds, watched the live telecast of the ‘Prana Pratishtha’ ceremony from Ayodhya. Union Minister of State for Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy and Rajya Sabha member K Laxman, along with other BJP leaders, were present during the live viewing.

Expressing her gratitude to Laxman for organizing a grand program with a giant screen, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan remarked to the media that the whole world is rejoicing in the Ayodhya event, and words fail to capture the extent of happiness felt.
