“Violence Erupts in Daulatabad, Telangana During Ram Mandir Inauguration; Minority-Owned Shop Set Ablaze, Another Looted”

Hyderabad : On 22 Jan Monday In Daulatabad, Sangareddy district of Telangana, an incident of violence unfolded on Monday night during the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Mandir. A shop belonging to a member of the minority community was set ablaze, and another was looted in connection with the unfortunate events.

The targeted fruit and milk shops, owned by a person named Ghouse in Masjid Noor district Sangareddy, Daulatabad, bore the brunt of the attack. While one shop was intentionally set on fire, the other was vandalized. There were also attempts to target a clothing shop owned by Ghouse. Local residents promptly notified Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, the president of Majlis, about the situation.

In response to the alarming news, Barrister Owaisi immediately contacted the District Superintendent of Police (SP) over the phone, urging swift action against the perpetrators. Acting promptly, the District SP, along with subordinate officials, rushed to Daulatabad to prevent any further escalation of the situation.

Following Barrister Owaisi’s instructions, Mr. Kausar Mohiuddin, MLA Karwan, and the in-charge of Medak district, collaborated with the police officials to ensure the safety of the victims. The residence of Ghouse also came under attack, prompting efforts to transport him to a secure location from Daulatabad. With the assistance of the police and coordination with Mr. Kausar Mohiuddin, the victims were relocated to safe places.

During this unsettling incident, miscreants were heard shouting slogans like “Pakistan Jao” while causing damage to shops and chanting “Jai Shri Ram.” Ghouse, upon reaching Aminpur Ben Cheru, informed MLA Kausar Mohiuddin that they had safely arrived at their destination. The police played a crucial role in facilitating their movement to a secure place, mitigating the potential harm caused by the violent episode.
